Dr. Lydia Dugdale, director of the Center for Clinical Medical Ethics at Columbia University, published an article in the Wall Street Journal entitled, “Old Age Will Be Different in the Robotic Age.” In the article, Dr. Dugdale explores ways that advances in robotic technology could contribute to elder care, while warning that there is no substitute for human freedom.
